Residential and business primary exchange services

The Commission approves the application by Hay Communications Co-operative Limited (Hay Communications), dated 1 April 2002, to revise General Tariff item 3 of section 320, Suspension of Service - Charges; item 5 of section 100, Rate Schedules for Residential Primary Exchange (Local) Service, and Touch-Tone Service; item 6 of section 100, Rate Schedules for Business Primary Exchange (Local) Service, in order to increase the per-activation charge from $50 to $57 for residential individual line services suspended for a period of one to six months, increase the residential individual line services monthly rate to $21.30, and make minor revisions that will have no material impact on rates or services provided.

These revisions are in accordance with the Commission's Decision CRTC 2001-756, 14 December 2001.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The revisions take effect as of 1 July 2002.

Hay Communications is to issue forthwith revised tariff pages to reflect these changes.
