|
1. |
The Commission approves on a final basis, at the rate specified in paragraph 2,the application by Northwestel Inc. (Northwestel) dated 16 November 2001, as amended by tariff notice 765A dated 6 December 2001, to introduce a billing and collection service under item 200 of its Access Services Tariff for Interconnection with Interexchange Carriers. |
2. |
The rate for the processing charge per account receivable returned or charged back to the inter-exchange carrier after the billing has been reduced from $15.66 to $13.50 to reflect the efficiencies gained as experience is acquired in processing each chargeback, and the recovery of one-time costs spread over a longer period of time. |
3. |
The application was approved on an interim basis in Order CRTC 2001-886, 19 December 2001. |
4. |
The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |
5. |
The Commission directs Northwestel to issue revised tariff pages forthwith. |
