The Commission approves the applications by Northern Telephone Limited, on behalf of itself and Télébec ltée (Télébec), dated 18 December 2001, and amended on 14 January 2002, in order to revise section N690 of its General Tariff, and section 6.1 of Télébec's General Tariff, both entitled "Inter-exchange distance charges". |

The company proposes to increase by 10% its rates for the Ontario-Quebec inter-exchange voice-grade and teletype-grade channels. The Commission notes that the companies' customers have been notified of the rate increases. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the applications. |

The revisions take effect as of the date of this order. |
