Further to its Broadcasting Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2002-11 dated 4 October 2002 relating to a Public Hearing which will be held on 10 December 2002 at 9:30 a.m., at The Fairmont Newfoundland, 115 Cavendish Square, St. John's, Newfoundland, the Commission announces that it will also consider the following. The intervention deadline is 25 November 2002. |

Applications by BCE INC. (BCE), on its behalf and on behalf of BELL ACTIMEDIA INC. (BAM) (partners in a general partnership), the proposed limited partner, and on behalf of BELL EXPRESSVU INC. (BEI), the general partner, for licences to operate the undertakings noted below, following a corporate reorganization of BELL EXRESSVU Limited Partnership (BEV LP) which will result in a change to the limited partner of BEV LP from BCE to "BCE and BAM, partners in a general partnership". |
The ultimate control of the undertakings noted below will continue to be exercised by BCE. |

The current BEV LP operates a direct-to-home (DTH) distribution undertaking, a pay-per-view (PPV) undertaking, a DTH PPV undertaking and a satellite relay distribution undertaking. |
|
The applicants are requesting licences to continue the operation of these undertakings upon surrender of the current licences issued to Bell ExpressVu Inc., general partner, and BCE Inc. limited partner, carrying on business as Bell ExpressVu Limited Partnership. |

In exceptional circumstances, the Commission may allow an intervenor to present its intervention by teleconference. At the time of filing its intervention, the intervenor must clearly indicate why the Commission should grant such a request. |

Persons requiring communications support such as assistive listening devices and sign language interpretation are requested to inform the commission at least twenty (20) days before the commencement of the public hearing so that the necessary arrangements can be made. |
