Parties to Public Notice 2001-110

Re : Additional round of reply comments for Public Notice 2001-110 - Conditions of service for wireless CLECs and for 9-1-1 services offered by WSPs

In a letter issued on 24 December, the Commission's staff approved a request by Bell for an extension to the submission dates of various proceedings, including those launched by Public Notice 2001-110.

The Commission's staff letter of 24 December therefore extended the submission date for Reply Comments to Public Notice 2001-110 from 7 January 2002 to 17 January 2002. (addition of 10 calendar days).

Unfortunately, administrative errors occurred in notifying all parties of this extension in a timely fashion. As a result, at least one party has filed Reply Comments on or before the original reply date of 7 January, without knowledge of the 10 day extension.

This situation thus allows other parties to provide Reply Comments that not only address all initial submissions but also the Reply Comments filed on or before 7 January.

To ensure an equitable process, Commission staff is providing for an additional round of Reply Comments to Public Notice 2001-110 for those parties who have filed Reply Comments by 17 January 2001.

Consequently, in addition to the opportunity to file Reply Comments on Monday 17 January 2002, parties who filed Reply Comments on or before 17 January may file additional Reply Comments by Monday, 28 January, serving a copy thereof on all other parties.

All documents must be received, and not merely mailed, by the dates provided.
