Mr. Michel Arpin Mr. Arpin: Application No. 2002-0820-9 - Approved Trust arrangement: Application by Astral Media Inc. to obtain approval for a trust arrangement concerning certain AM stations and the designation of Mr. Paul-Émile Beaulne as trustee The Commission acknowledges receipt of the above-noted application and hereby authorizes the establishment of the said trust by Astral Media Inc. This authorization is valid until June 30, 2003. Any change to this trust is subject to prior Commission approval. The Commission requires Astral Media to file an executed copy of the voting trust arrangement on or before November 8, 2002. The Commission emphasizes that this authority is not to be interpreted in any way as an indication that the Commission is predisposed to authorize the subsequent change of ownership or control. The applicant is reminded to attach a copy of this letter to its current licences, under Astral Media Inc. and its subsidiaries. Yours sincerely,
