One-year administrative renewal for Sports Special |

1. |
The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the national English-language direct-to-home pay-per-view television service, Sports Special, from 1 September 2002 to 31 August 2003, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence. |

This period will allow the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as that of the national English-language pay television programming undertaking providing a digital pay-per-view service delivered via satellite, Sports Special, which licence expires on 31 August 2003. |

3. |
This decision does not dispose of any substantive issue that may exist with respect to the renewal of this licence, and interested parties will have an opportunity to comment at the appropriate time |
