Ottawa, 12 February 2002

Saskatchewan Telecommunications
Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Yorkton, Estevan, Weyburn, Swift Current, North Battleford, Battleford, White City and Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan

Application 2002-0040-3

Extension of time limit to implement a new cable distribution undertaking

1.

The Commission approves the application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications for an extension of the time limit to implement its authority for a new cable distribution undertaking to serve the above-noted locations, granted by Decision CRTC 2001-171 dated 12 March 2001.

2.

The Commission grants the licensee an additional 12 months, until 12 March 2003, to implement this authority.

3.

The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before such date.

4.

Once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operation, the licence for this undertaking will be issued.
