Deadline to commence operations


The Commission approves the application by Radio du Golfe inc. for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the new transmitter of CJMC-FM Sainte-Anne-des-Monts at La Martre, authorized in Licence amendment for CJMC-FM Sainte-Anne-des-Monts,Decision CRTC 2001-28, 25 January 2001.


The Commission notes that this is the licensee's second request for an extension to implement its authority.


The transmitter must be operational at the earliest possible date, and in any event no later than 25 January 2003, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before this date. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted in writing at least 60 days before this date.
