Licence renewal for various radio stations |

1. |
The Commission renews the broadcasting licences for the radio programming undertakings and their transmitters listed in the appendices to this decision, from 1 September 2001 to 31 August 2008. The licences will be subject to the conditions set out in New licence form for commercial radio stations, Public Notice CRTC 1999-137, 24 August 1999. |

In accordance with Implementation of an employment equity policy, Public Notice CRTC 1992-59, 1 September 1992, the Commission encourages the licensees listed in Appendix 1 to this decision to consider employment equity issues in their hiring practices and in all other aspects of their management of human resources. |
|
3. |
Because the licensees listed in Appendix 2 to this decision are subject to the Employment Equity Act and file reports with Human Resources Development Canada, their employment equity practices are not examined by the Commission. |
