Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-139

Ottawa, 21 May 2002

Alliance Autochtone Local 30 Mistassini
Dolbeau-Mistassini, Quebec

Application 2002-0237-5

Extension of time limit to implement a new native radio programming undertaking at Dolbeau-Mistassini

1.

The Commission approves the application by Alliance Autochtone Local 30 Mistassini for an extension of the time limit to commence operation of a new native radio programming undertaking at Dolbeau-Mistassini, authorized in New native FM radio programming undertaking, Decision CRTC 2001-354, 15 June 2001.

2.

The Commission grants the licensee an extension, until 15 June 2003, to implement this authority. The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is approved by the Commission before 15 June 2003. In order to ensure that such a request is processed in a timely manner, it should be submitted in writing at least 30 days before this date.

3.

The licence for this undertaking will be issued once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations.
