Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-115

Ottawa, 26 April 2002

Russell C. Cook, on behalf of a non-profit corporation to be incorporated
Opaskwayak Cree Nation (The Pas), Manitoba

Application 2002-0190-6

Extension of time limit to implement a new radio programming undertaking at Opaskwayak Cree Nation (The Pas)

The Commission approves the application by Russell C. Cook, on behalf of a non-profit corporation to be incorporated, for a six-month extension of the time limit to commence operation of a new radioprogramming undertaking at Opaskwayak Cree Nation near The Pas, authorized by New low power type B FM native radio programming undertaking, Decision CRTC 2000-132, 28 April 2000.

The Commission grants the licensee until 25 October 2002 to implement this authority.

The licensee's failure to meet this new implementation deadline will cause this authority to become null and void, unless a request for a further extension of time is submitted and approved by the Commission within that period.

The licence for this undertaking will be issued once the licensee has informed the Commission in writing that it is prepared to commence operations.
