Public Notice CRTC 2001-114

  Ottawa, 6 November 2001
The Commission has received the following application:

1.

Vernon, British Columbia
Application No. 2001-1132-8
Application by TELEMEDIA RADIO (WEST) INC. to amend the licence of the radio station CICF-FM at Vernon.
The licensee proposes to change the frequency from 105.5 MHz (channel 288C1) to 105.7 MHz (channel 289C1).
NAV Canada found the previously approved frequency technically unacceptable. Consequently, the licensee needs to change the frequency.
This will allow the licensee to implement the conversion of radio station CICF from AM to FM originally approved in Decision CRTC 2001-575.

Vernon, B.C.
