Subject: Proposed revisions to the 2000 SRB Manuals

On 05 April 2001, the Commission received an application dated 2 April 2001 from Aliant Telecom Inc., in which it proposed changes to the 2000 Split Rate Base (SRB) Manuals of NewTel Communications Inc., NBTel Inc., Maritime Tel & Tel Limited, and Island Telecom Inc.

The Commission has reviewed Aliant's proposed changes and approves the updates as submitted. The Commission directs the companies to file with the Commission and serve on interested parties amended SRB Manual pages that reflect these revisions within 30 days of the date of this letter.
