To: CISC Steering Committee Members, Subject: Seeking comments on documents tabled by the CCM Working Groups in preparation for the meeting of the CISC Steering Committee and CCM Co-ordination Committee The Chairman of the CCM Co-ordination Committee will hold a conference call meeting of the CISC Steering Committee and Co-ordination Committee members on Thursday, 17 May 2001 at 2:00 p.m. (Ottawa time). The purpose of the meeting is to review the three documents listed below with the objective of reaching a consensus by all members. If a consensus is reached, the document, with any modifications agreed to by these Committees, will then be filed with the Commission for final approval. If there are any disputes about the documents that cannot be resolved among the parties, they will be put forward to the Commission for resolution. National Contribution Fund Administration Agreement - http://www.crtc.gc.ca/cisc/eng/cisf4g3b.htm ; Procedures for operation of the revenue-based contribution regime - http://www.crtc.gc.ca/PartVII/eng/8638/C12-45.htm (received Commission interim approval on 30 April 2001); and Memorandum of Understanding (with respect to SaskTel, Telebec and Quebec-Telephone) - http://www.crtc.gc.ca/cisc/eng/cisf4g3b.htm . In light of the volume of documentation to be reviewed at the meeting, we encourage interested parties to provide comments in advance on any of the above documents by writing to the Secretary General at CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A ON2; by fax at (819) 953-0795; or by email at procedure@crtc.gc.ca. Your comments will assist in the preparation of a detailed agenda for the meeting and allow the parties to prepare to discuss and negotiate a resolution if any disputed issues are raised. Your comments should clearly identify and describe the item(s) you would like the members to discuss at the meeting together with your position and proposed solution for each of the issues. In writing to the Commission, please number each paragraph of your submission. Parties filing electronic documents are requested to enter the line ***End of document*** following the last paragraph. This will help the Commission verify that the document has not been damaged during transmission. Your comments are to be filed with the Commission by 14 May 2001. The document must actually be received by the Commission, not merely sent, by that date.
