Re: CRTC Telemarketing Complaint Statistics

In CRTC seeks public input on telemarketing rules Public Notice CRTC 2001-34 dated 5 March 2001, the Commission invited comments on the current rules concerning telemarketing and on what additional restrictions could be considered.

In order to assist parties in developing their comments on the matters raised in Public Notice 2001-34, the Commission is providing information on the volume of calls and letters to CRTC headquarters and regional offices regarding complaints about telemarketing. This information is also posted on the Commission's website for this proceeding.
