Decision CRTC 2001-725

Ottawa, 28 November 2001

Ms Lanny Morry
Director Regulatory Affairs
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
250 Lanark Avenue
Ottawa, ON K1Z 6R5

Dear Ms Morry:

Re: Application 2001-1240-0 Approval
Extension of time limit
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation - Sherbrooke

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission approves your request for an extension of time limit to implement the programming transmitter site of CBM-FM at Sherbrooke, Quebec.

The Commission grants a six-month extension of time limit, until 31 May 2002.

This extension does not of course, relieve you of your responsibility to implement the authority to operate the radio programming undertaking at Sherbrooke at the earliest possible date.

Should the completion of new installation not be completed within the period stipulated in this decision, the authority granted shall lapse and become null and void upon expiry of the period of time granted herein or upon the termination of the last approved extension period.

The Commission would appreciate being informed of the actual date of the construction and implementation of the radio programming undertaking.

The Commission requires you to append this decision to the original decision amending the licence of CBM-FM.

Sincerely,

Ursula Menke

Secretary General
