Increase in power for CJBR-FM Rimouski


The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CJBR-FM Rimouski by increasing the effective radiated power from 5,500 watts to 19,400 watts and by changing the channel class from 206B to 206C1.


The Department of Industry has advised that this application is conditionally technically acceptable, subject to determination that there will be no unacceptable interference with NAV/COM services. When the Department has certified that a broadcasting certificate has been or will be issued, the amendment approved in this decision will be valid (section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act).
