Increase in power for CJBR-FM Rimouski |

The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CJBR-FM Rimouski by increasing the effective radiated power from 5,500 watts to 19,400 watts and by changing the channel class from 206B to 206C1. |

The Department of Industry has advised that this application is conditionally technically acceptable, subject to determination that there will be no unacceptable interference with NAV/COM services. When the Department has certified that a broadcasting certificate has been or will be issued, the amendment approved in this decision will be valid (section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act). |
