Decision CRTC 2001-672

Ottawa, 5 November 2001

Mr. Yves Sauvé
Société Radio St-Laurent
300, François Leber
La Prairie, Quebec
J5R 5L9

Re : Application 2001-0972-9 - Approved
Extension of implementation date to 27 October 2002
Yves Sauvé, on behalf of a company to be incorporated to be known under Société Radio St-Laurent CJRP Saint-Nicolas, Quebec

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that the Commission has approved your application to extend the implementation date for your programming undertaking CJRP Saint-Nicolas, Quebec.

The Commission has granted a twelve (12)-month extension, namely until 27 October 2002.

This extension does not, however, relieve you of the responsibility to complete the construction and implement CJRP at an earlier date.

Should the work not be completed within the period stipulated in this decision or should the Commission deny an application for extension filed by the licensee, the licence will not be issued.

As stipulated in the decision, the authorization will only be effective and the licence will only be issued at such time as the undertaking is constructed and ready to begin operation. Consequently, the applicant is required to notify the Commission, in writing, before the end of the 12-month extension or any other extension approved by the Commission, once it has completed construction of the undertaking and is prepared to commence operation, so its licence can be issued.

The Commission requires that this decision be appended to the licence of your undertaking or, where a licence has not yet been issued, to the original decision granting you a licence.

Yours truly,

Ursula Menke
Secretary General
