The licensee proposes to increase the power of the transmitter from 17,600 to 117,000 watts and change the transmitter channel from 49 to 34. |
||
These amendments will allow CFGS-TV to add 20 kilometres to its coverage and thereby offer its services, namely local and regional information, to the populations of distant areas such as Thurso, Rockland, Embrun, Notre-Dame-de-la Salette. |
||
The licensee is convinced that this project meets the objectives of service to the population, addresses the needs of its advertising clients, helps the station's profitability and adoption of new technologies. |
