Integrated voice messaging service

The Commission approves, on a final basis, Bell Canada's application to:

· introduce Call Answer Message Manager, which offers a new suite of service features for the residential market;

· destandardize, for residential customers, the Call Answer Plus service basket, which includes Toll Saver, Visual Manager and Message Link and Enhanced Mailbox capacity; and

· destandardize Call Answer Plus in the Messaging Pack and the Privacy Pack, and replace it with Call Answer Message Manager on a going forward basis.

Bell Canada filed the application on 11 May 2001 and amended it on 12 June 2001 to revise items 2025 and 2220 of its General Tariff.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The application was approved on an interim basis in Order CRTC 2001-498, dated 29 June 2001.
