Megalink service

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's request, filed on behalf of Maritime Tel & Tel Limited and NewTel Communications Inc. to:

· remove MTT's General Tariff CRTC 10001 Item 4500 and NewTel's General Tariff CRTC 13001 Item 210; and

· introduce a common Megalink service for customers in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Aliant Telecom filed the application on 7 May 2001 to revise MTT's and NewTel's tariffs and to add Item 201 to APTC's Regional Services Tariff.

The revisions take effect on the date of this order.
