Order CRTC 2001-349

Ottawa, 2 May 2001

Bell Canada
Tariff Notice 6574

Residence service connection promotion

The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to introduce a three-month promotion relating to residence service connection.

During that promotion, residential individual line customers moving from one premise to another and who process their request for service via the Bell Canada Internet website will receive a $20 discount on the associated service connection charge of $55.

To qualify for this promotion, customers must have Bell Canada as their primary interexchange carrier and subscribe to the company's Wirecare program.

Bell Canada filed the application on 30 March 2001 to revise Item 100 of its General Tariff.

The revisions take effect on the date of this order.

Secretary General
