Pay telephone basic access line service

 

The Commission approves SaskTel's request to provide payphone access line (PAL) service for competitors at a 25% discount from the individual business line rates and to further clarify the types of calls permitted on PAL service and to permit competitive local exchange carriers to resell the PAL.

 

SaskTel filed the application on 12 December 2000 to revise Item 650.06 of its Competitor Access Tariff.

 

The revisions take effect on the date of this order.
