The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 15 October 2001 at 9:00 a.m., at the Renaissance Vancouver Hotel Harbourside, 1133 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, to consider the following: |

The applicant is also requesting a licence to continue the operation of the undertaking, upon surrender of the current licence issued to Craig Broadcast Systems Inc. |

The applicant is proposing to move its current programming and call letters from its existing AM station, CKRM, to 620 kHz (the current CKCK frequency), and to move the programming and call letters of CKCK to 980 kHz (the current CKRM frequency). |

Subject to approval of the above-noted application by HDL Investments Inc., RAWLCO COMMUNICATIONS (SASK.) LTD. is seeking approval to acquire the assets of radio station CKCK Regina on the 980 kHz frequency. |
The applicant is also requesting a licence to continue the operation of the undertaking, upon surrender of the current licence issued to HDL Investments Inc. |

The applicant also proposes to move the programming and call letters of its radio station CJME Regina (currently on the 1300 kHz frequency) to the CKCK undertaking on the 980 kHz frequency. |

The new station would operate on frequency 94.5 MHz (channel 233C) with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts. |

The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable. |

This application requires the issuance of a new licence. |

PERSONS REQUIRING COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT SUCH AS ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES AND SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION ARE REQUESTED TO INFORM THE COMMISSION AT LEAST TWENTY (20) DAYS BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE PUBLIC HEARING SO THAT THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS CAN BE MADE. |
