Further to its Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2001-3 and 2001-3-1 dated 21 February 2001 relating to the Public Hearing which will be held on 17 April 2001 at 9:00 A.M., at the Conference Centre, Phase IV, 140 Promenade du Portage, Hull, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:

Application to renew the broadcasting licence of the television programming undertaking CKMI-TV Québec and its transmitters CKMI-TV-1 Montréal and CKMI-TV-2 Sherbrooke expiring 31 August 2002.
 

The licensee is also requesting, with regards to its condition of licence relating to local advertising, to either:
 

- delete its condition of licence which prohibits it from selling local advertising, or
 

- amend the condition of licence to read as follows:
 

The licensee shall not broadcast any local advertising from advertisers that do not have a location in the Montreal extended market, as defined for audience ratings purposes.
