8678-C12-11/01 Ottawa, 26 September 2001 To: Distribution List - Interested Parties, Public Notice CRTC 2001-37 Re: Public Notice CRTC 2001-37 (PN 2001-37) Price Cap Review and Related Issues: Organization and Conduct of the Oral Public Hearing The purpose of this letter is to confirm the order of witnesses to be presented for cross-examination and the list of parties that have notified the Commission of their intention to cross-examine one or more witnesses established in the organization and conduct letter issued on 7 September 2001. The modifications have been made in bold. ORDER OF WITNESSES TO BE PRESENTED:
1. Aliant Telecom Inc., Bell Canada, MTS Communications Inc., Saskatchewan Telecommunications (The Companies) Note that ARC et al is presenting Barbara Alexander (Panel 1) in conjunction with BCOAPO and MKO (MKO will also be presenting Mr. Doug Smith as a separate panel). Mr. John Todd, Mr. Greg Matwichuk and Mr. Trevor Roycroft (Panel 2) will testify on behalf of ARC et al, BCOAPO and City of Calgary. ORDER OF CROSS-EXAMINATION OF WITNESSES:
1. The Companies It is possible that the first phase of the oral hearing (ie. comments from the public), commencing 1 October 2001 may not last the entire day. Accordingly, parties should be prepared to begin the cross-examination phase, if necessary, as early as the afternoon of 1 October 2001. Sincerely,
