Extension of Trust Arrangement and the term of appointment of Daniel M. Campbell, trustee in regard to Salter Street Broadcasting Limited Salter Street) and Independent Film Channel Canada Incorporated (IFCC)

Reference is made to your letter of 28 August 2001 where you seek an extension of the authority granted on 9 February 2001 regarding a trust arrangement for Salter Street and the term of appointment of Mr. Daniel M. Campbell as trustee. The authority is to expire on 31 August 2001.

I am pleased to inform you that the Commission has considered your request and has decided to extend the authority for the trust arrangement and the term of appointment of Mr. Daniel M. Campbell as trustee until 31 January 2002.

This authority is not to be interpreted in any way as an indication that the Commission is predisposed to authorize the subsequent application. A copy of this letter should be provided to IFCC so that it can be appended to its licence.
