Corporate reorganization - A corporate change whereby Salter Street Broadcasting Limited will become the shareholder of 3779718 Canada Limited, licensee of 20 category 2 digital pay and specialty services.
The Commission approves the above-noted application for authority to effect a corporate reorganization whereby Salter Street Broadcasting Limited will become the shareholder of 3779718 Canada Limited, licensee of 20 category 2 digital pay and specialty services. The Commission notes that in its Decisions 2000-652 to 2000-671 inclusive dated November 24, 2000, it has awarded category 2 digital pay and specialty services to Salter Street OBCI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Salter Films Limited.
The Commission will modify its ownership records to reflect the authorized ownership of Salter Street Broadcasting Limited as shown in the attached appendix. The Commission notes that Daniel M. Campbell, Q.C., acting as trustee in the Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. and Salter Street Films Limited merger, will continue to exercise effective control of Salter Street Broadcasting Limited.
All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's central office. The Commission also requires you to append this letter to your licences.
