Six-month administrative renewal for MovieMax |

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language pay television programming undertaking MovieMax, from 1 March 2001 to 31 August 2001, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence. |

The Commission has granted an administrative renewal because it will not be able to rule on the licence renewal application before the current licence term expires. This renewal does not dispose of the application, nor of any substantive issues that may exist with respect to the renewal of this licence. The Commission will announce the application at a later date and interested parties will then have an opportunity to comment. |
