Licence amendment for CHIM-FM Timmins |

1. |
The Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for the radio programming undertaking CHIM-FM Timmins (the originating station), by authorizing the licensee to add a transmitter at Sault Ste. Marie. |

This transmitter will enable the licensee to offer a Christian music service to residents of Sault Ste. Marie. |

The licensee states that the proposed transmitter will run the same programming at the same time as the main station in Timmins, via long distance land lines and with the aid of a remotely-accessed local computer located in Sault Ste. Marie. |
4. |
As proposed, the new FM transmitter will operate on frequency 97.3 MHz, channel 247LP, with an effective radiated power of 50 watts. |

The authority will be effective and the licence will be amended only at such time as: |

The technical parameters approved in this decision are for a low-power unprotected FM service. The applicant will have to select another frequency if required to do so to permit the best use of the frequency band. |
