Corporate reorganization- Transfer of all issued and outstanding shares of Mount Royal Holding Inc. from 605638 B.C. Ltd. and 606704 B.C. Ltd. to Corus Entertainment Inc.
The Commission approves the above-noted application for authority to undertake a corporate reorganization whereby all of the issued and outstanding shares of Belcand Mount Royal Holdings Inc. will be transferred to Corus Entertainment Inc.
The result of the corporate reorganization is that Corus Entertainment Inc. will be the direct owner of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Belcand Mount Royal Inc., the parent company of Metromedia CMR Broadcasting Inc. (the licensee of CINW Montreal, CFQR-FM Montreal, CKOO-FM Longueuil and CIME-FM St Jerome). The corporate reorganization also affects the effective control of CINF Verdun and CKOI-FM Longueuil (currently licensed to Metromedia CMR Montreal Inc.).
The Commission will modify its ownership records to reflect the authorized ownership of Belcand Mount Royal Holdings Inc. as shown in the attached appendix.
All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's central office. The Commission also requires you to append this letter to your licence.
