Intra-corporate reoganization

1. 9;

The Commission approves the applications by HDL Investments Inc. for authority to transfer to a company to be incorporated (NEWCO) the assets of radio programming undertakings CKRM and CHMX-FM Regina and the radio network at Regina, and for broadcasting licences to continue the operation of these undertakings.

2. 9;

Upon surrender of the current licences, the Commission will issue licences to NEWCO, expiring on the current expiry dates: 31 August 2002 for CKRM and CHMX-FM and at the end of the Canadian Football League's 2003 football season for the radio network. The licences will be subject to the conditions set out in the licences to be issued. The licences for CKRM and CHMX-FM will also be subject to the conditions set out in Public Notice CRTC 1999-137.

3. 9;

This transaction represents an intracorporate reorganization without any change occurring in the control, programming or management of the licensees.

4. 9;

This authority will only be effective and the Commission will only issue the licence at such time as it receives documentation establishing that an eligible Canadian corporation has been incorporated in accordance with the application in all material respects and that this corporation may be issued a licence.

5. 9;

The Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources (Public Notice CRTC 1992-59).
