The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CKVU-TV Vancouver and its transmitter at Courtenay, from 1 September 2001 to 31 August 2002, subject to the terms and conditions in effect under the current licence. |

The Commission has granted an administrative renewal pending receipt and consideration of an application regarding the sale of CKVU-TV and its rebroadcasting facilities at Courtenay. The decision released today does not dispose of any substantive issue that may exist with respect to the renewal of this licence. |
