Transfer of control and 50% shares of The Family Channel Inc.
The Commission approves the above-noted application for authority to effect a change in the effective control of The Family Channel Inc. The change in effective control of The Family Channel Inc. will be effected through the transfer of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Corus Premium Corporation to Astral Media Inc. The Commission notes that following this approval, Astral Media Inc. will increase its indirect ownership interest in Teletoon Canada Inc. to 40%.
The Commission will modify its ownership records to reflect the authorized ownership of The Family Channel Inc as shown in the attached appendix.
All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's central office. The Commission also requires you to append this letter to your licence.
