Transfer of control and shares - Regional Cablesystems Inc., on behalf of Duclos Câblevision Ltée, requests authority to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Duclos Câblevision Ltée, licensee of cable distribution undertakings serving Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec
The Commission approves the above-noted application for authority to effect a change in the effective control of Duclos Câblevison Ltée. The change in effective control will be effected through the transfer of all the issued and outstanding shares of Duclos Câblevision Ltée being transferred to Regional Cablesystems Inc.
The Commission notes that Regional Cablesystems Inc., a widely held Canadian company, will now exercise control over Duclos Câblevision Ltée. Furthermore, the Commission understands that following the transaction, Duclos Câblevision Ltée, will amalgamate with Regional Cablesystems Inc. and expects the amalgamation documents to be forwarded once they become available.
The Commission will modify its ownership records to reflect the authorized ownership of Duclos Câblevision Ltée as shown in the attached appendix.
All letters of approval issued by the Commission are made available for public examination at the Commission's central office. The Commission also requires you to append this letter to your licence.
