New radiocommunication distribution undertaking

1.

The Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence to carry on a radiocommunication distribution undertaking consisting of 3 low-power television transmitters at Blackpool.

2.

Subject to the requirements of this decision, the Commission will issue a licence, expiring 31 August 2007. This licence will be subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.

3.

This undertaking will distribute, in non-encrypted mode, the following programming services:

CHKM-TV (CTV) Kelowna
CFJC-TV (CBC) Kamloops
Open Learning Agency (Knowledge Network)

4.

The licensee is authorized to distribute these services on channels 5, 6 and 13, each with a transmitter power of 10 watts.

5.

The Commission will only issue the licence, and it will only be effective at such time as the licensee confirms in writing that it is ready to begin operation. This must take place within 12 months of today's date. Any request for an extension to that deadline requires Commission approval and must be made in writing within that period.
