DTH-PPV contributions to Canadian production |
|
1. 9; |
The Commission approves an application by Corus VC Ltd. to amend its direct-to-home (DTH) pay-per-view licence with respect to contributions to Canadian production. |
2. 9; |
When this licence was originally granted in Decision CRTC 95-905, it was subject to a condition requiring the licensee to contribute a minimum of 5% of its gross annual revenues derived from its DTH pay-per-view broadcasting activities to the program production fund independently administered by Westcom Entertainment Group Ltd. That condition was reiterated in the context of an intracorporate reorganization of WIC Western International Communications Ltd. (Decision CRTC 2000-70 - Appendix 14). |
3. 9; |
Approval of this application does not alter the annual percentage of revenue that will be directed to Canadian production by this licensee. The only change is the deletion of the reference to a specific program production fund. |
4. 9; |
The original condition of licence is hereby replaced with the following condition: |

This decision is to be appended to the licence. |
