Corporate name change
The Commission approves Wightman's request to:
  • amalgamate Wightman Telephone Limited and The South Bruce Rural Telephone Company Limited with the new name of Wightman Telecom Ltd.; and
  • discontinue the tariffs for The South Bruce Rural Telephone Company Limited.
Wightman filed the application on 8 September 2000.
The revisions will take effect on 1 January 2001.
