Digital exchange access and Megalink service

The Commission approves Bell Canada's request to waive service charges for a six-month period, until 20 February 2001, for the following service elements:
  • channelized DS-3 accesses which consolidate existing Megalink or digital exchange accesses and DS-1 accesses used for other services; and
  • channelized DS-1 accesses connected to Megalink or digital exchange access service which are configured to utilize the new DS-0 connectivity feature.
Bell Canada filed this application on 20 July 2000 to revise Item 301 of the National Services Tariff and Items 5201 and 5300 of its General Tariff.
These revisions will take effect on 21 August 2000.
