| Trunk-side interconnection with common channel signalling approved for wireless service providers | |

| The Commission approves Bruce Municipal Telephone System's (BMTS) application, with changes, to introduce trunk-side interconnection for wireless service providers. | |

The Commission notes that an independent Canadian Number Administrator supply and administer geographic central office codes. Accordingly, the telephone companies do not need tariffs for work they no longer perform. |

The Commission approves BMTS's Tariff Notice 81, but directs the company to remove the following items from Section 7.01 of the proposed tariff and to issue revised tariff pages: |
| a) Geographic central office codes (NNX) obtained from the Central Office Code Administrator; | |
| b) Industry notification; and | |
| c) Bellcore Record Maintenance for recovery of the annual Bellcore charges. | |
