Order CRTC 2000-710

Ottawa, 31 July 2000
Quadro Communications Co-operative Inc.
Tariff Notice 17

Digital switched service

The Commission approves Quadro's request to:
  • introduce Digital switched service (DSS) to provide the customer access to Quadro's public switched telephone network (PSTN) on DS-1 basis, which will permit use of the DSS for voice PSTN connectivity or for Internet service provider connectivity; and
  • revise the existing Digital network services tariff to accommodate the introduction of DSS and to increase certain rates to be consistent with those approved for other telephone companies.
Quadro filed this application on 22 June 2000 to revise Sections 200 and 900 of its General Tariff.
These revisions will take effect on 6 August 2000.
