Mr. Edmund Burry Dear Mr. Burry: Subject: Proposed Revisions to the 2000 SRB Manuals On 10 November 2000, the Commission received an application dated 31 October 2000 from Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant), in which it proposed revisions to the Split Rate Base (SRB) Manuals of NewTel Communications Inc., NBTel Inc., Maritime Tel & Tel Limited, and Island Telecom Inc. The Commission has reviewed Aliant's proposal to develop a common SRB financial statement presentation for use by the Aliant group of companies. The Commission approves the updates as submitted and directs the companies to file with the Commission and serve on interested parties amended SRB Manual pages that reflect these revisions within 30 days of the date of this letter.
