| Application (200013748) by 3609294 CANADA INC., the general partner, and BCE INC., the limited partner, operating as Bell ExpressVu Limited Partnership. | |

In Public Notice CRTC 2000-51 dated 31 March 2000, the Commission determined that the terms of the existing Bell ExpressVu direct-to-home (DTH) satellite distribution undertaking licence would not allow Bell ExpressVu to serve multiple unit dwellings (MUDs) where distribution facilities cross property lines, public streets or highways. |

| In order to provide such service, this application requests an amendment to the DTH licence which would allow the undertaking to provide service to MUDs such as condominiums and apartment buildings, through the use of a variety of technologies, including terrestrial distribution techniques (land lines). | |
