The CBC proposes to add an FM radio transmitter at Grand Falls to offer the programming of CBN-FM St. John's Radio Two service. The transmitter will operate on frequency 90.7 MHz (channel 214C1) with an effective radiated power of 57,000 watts. |
|
The addition of the transmitter will require an amendment to the broadcasting licence for CBN-FM. |

The CBC will not be submitting a renewal application for its radiocommunication distribution undertaking CBH-FM-1 Middleton, which expires 31 August 2000. Instead, it proposes to add CBH-FM-1 to the list of transmitters of CBH-FM Halifax. |
CBH-FM-1 will continue to provide Radio Two service on frequency 93.3 MHz with an effective radiated power of 8,000 watts. |

The addition of the transmitter will require an amendment to the broadcasting licence for CBH-FM. |
