Ram proposes to distribute the signals of CKEM-TV (IND) Edmonton, Alberta and CJON-TV (CTV) St. John's, Newfoundland, on the discretionary tier of the Ram cable system serving Brooks. |
When a television station from a distant location is proposed to be carried on a cable system, the Commission considers that the originating station: | |
- must have no objection to the carriage; - must not accept local advertising; and - should enhance the diversity of Canadian programming available in the market. |

The licensees of CKEM-TV and CJON-TV state that they have no objection to the carriage of their stations on the Brooks system and that they will not accept local advertising. | |
