The licensee proposes to decrease the effective radiated power from 102 to 97.9 watts. This reduction is required because of a change in the height of the antenna and to improve service to the community of the Lac-Simon Reserve. |

Application (2000-1964-7) by WIRED WORLD INC. to amend the broadcasting licence for the Type B community radio programming undertaking, CKWR-FM as follows: |

The applicant proposes amendments of its conditions of licence as outlined in Public Notice CRTC 2000-13 "Community Radio Policy". The conditions of licence proposed in this application are to replace the licensee's programming obligations currently set out as conditions of licence in its Promise of Performance. |
|
Consistent with the new policy, the licensee is asking to be relieved of the condition of licence which requires that it "broadcast, in any broadcast week, not more than 15% hit material as defined in Public Notice CRTC 1997-42, as amended from time to time." In addition, as set out in the Community Radio Policy, the licensee would no longer be subject to the advertising restrictions currently appearing in its Promise of Performance. |
