Public Notice CRTC 2000-160 |
Ottawa, 4 December 2000 |
The Commission has received the following applications: |
ATLANTIC AND QUEBEC REGION |
MONTRÉAL, TERREBONNE, MASCOUCHE, LACHENAIE AND PART OF SAINT-LOUIS-DE-TERREBONNE, Quebec |
The Commission has received applications from the following cable distributors to be relieved, by condition of licence, of the requirement of section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Distribution Regulations to distribute CIME-FM Saint-Jérôme, an audio priority signal. |
The licensees explain that the number of stations exceeds the number of frequencies available on the distribution band of their cable undertakings. For this reason, the licensees request permission to not distribute CIME-FM Saint-Jérôme which would allow them to continue to offer all the local radio stations. |
