By letter dated 5 November 1999, Bzaat Com. (Bzaat) registered as a reseller of services provided by Bell Canada (Bell). Bzaat indicated that it offers single-hop service in the 514 and 450 area codes (Montreal and surrounding suburbs), and that it would be leasing Centrex and Public Switched Telephone Network lines from Bell. In support of its requested exemption from contribution charges for these services, Bzaat filed an affidavit dated 5 November 1999. |

By letter dated 7 December 1999, Bell indicated that it had reviewed its records with respect to services provided by Bzaat and confirmed that it has provided a Centrex system in the 514-341 exchange. Bell also noted that Bzaat's affidavit appears to satisfy the evidentiary requirement associated with a contribution exemption for the provision of local or single-hop Extended Area Service. Accordingly, Bell agreed with the requested exemption. |

The Commission finds that Bzaat's affidavit meets the Commission's evidentiary requirements. |

In light of the foregoing, Bzaat's application is approved effective the date of application. |
