Order CRTC 2000-204

Ottawa, 16 March 2000
Bell Canada
Tariff Notices 6442 and 6442/A
Large business customer access bundle
The Commission approves Bell’s tariff revisions to introduce the large business customer access bundle to provide the subscribers with the option to obtain flat rate business individual line primary exchange service and Megalink service at discounted access rates over a multi-year contract term.
Bell proposed that the large business customer access bundle be treated as a new uncapped service as it is designed to meet the specific needs of large business customers and to respond to competitive pressures.
However, the Commission notes that the large business customer access bundle is comprised of two capped services and accordingly finds that it is a capped service.
Bell filed its application on 24 January 2000 and amended it on 17 February 2000.
The revisions to Item 2330 of the General Tariff will take effect on 1 April 2000. Bell is to issue, forthwith, tariff pages reflecting the above approval.
